In real life, I had just got a new cat and we bonded fast. Nevertheless, as I dreamed, I was in a familiar place and I felt like my cat was talking to me and getting to know me as a person. Then a pack of painted dogs(like the African painted dogs Except with red mix in to their already black and brown coats). As they appeared a I took shelter in felt like my father’s truck from my childhood. I left the door open until my cat entered, but a one of the dog stared at me. Then they ran off.

At my house talking with my mom about the holidays and worrying about my son whom I am in a custody battle for with his narcissistic father. I went to let my dogs in and when I opened the door. There were 2 or 3 wild dogs, wolves or coyotes, eating something and snarling, they had blood on their faces and their paws. Both my dogs and my cat made it inside unharmed and mom and I locked the doors but watched the animals through the sliding glass door wondering what to do. They watched us back.

–May 24th, 2022: I was suddenly awoken by an intensely vivid dream. It involved me closely intermingling as if I was curiously thought of as one of their kind too; with three wild stray dogs (smallest reminded me of my own small older dog fighting early stage bladder cancer diagnosis), with 2 larger ones. They followed me from outside indoors taking food from me but became concerned when I tried to “rescue” the smallest then largest became wolf-like to dominant over me from behind. Not harmed!
