I walked up to the door of a large hall filled with young students receiving lecture.The teacher walked to the door to receive me and flogged me a stroke of the cane for coming late to class. She then lead me through to sit. I looked at the distance of the board to where I wanted to sit and discovered I will be unable to see what is written on the board. I decided to walk to other pews so I can sit and at the same time place my book to write comfortably. I finally found a pew that was favourable-Because the short pew had a more elongated rack at the back for placing book-As I approached to enter the pew,one of the student stood up for me to sit with my former university colleague who was brilliant so he could put me through with any question on what is taught.That colleague was wearing a spectacle and he jokingly said to me “on my 30th birthday, I should also ask someone to stand for me to sit with him”. I replied him “if nobody stands, It doesn’t mean I can’t self-teach myself”
