Tahir FirasahWalking through water signifies the passage through heavy emotion. This movement marks an advancement through the currents of a life being lived. The dream does not suggest a transition between two stable points, but rather a journey within the substance of the experience itself.
A resistance to the flow of these emotions characterizes the dream. The weight of the current dictates the pace of the progress. An ordeal finds its conclusion when the bank is finally reached. The dream marks the movement of a soul through the depth of its own condition.
Walking in dirty water indicates that the progression is hindered by a state of mourning. The presence of sediment in the dream shows that the emotional passage is clouded by distress.
The clarity and ease of the movement define the lightness of the experience. Shallow depths or transparent currents allow for a crossing that is performed without strain. A calm passage is found when the water offers no obstacle to the stride.
Walking under water changes the dream into a struggle against an immense weight. The crushing density of the medium signals a period where the surrounding pressure limits the breath of the soul.
The initial contact with the element marks a shift into changing circumstances. Stepping into the liquid reveals the moment when a person first enters a new and unstable environment.
