I had this dream where me and my partner joined some kind of cult and during the initaion, they had me eat food that had some kind of poison or date rape drug and after eating a few bites of it, I felt woozy and blacked out and vomited. It really scared me. What does this mean?

I was with a friend and ended up at some nice peoples house. They had an abundance of cobblers and insisted we eat. We did, as the family (mother, father, multiple children) watched. In my dream I realized they were feeding us to plump us up or the food was tainted.
