Tahir FirasahKilling a snake is the act of overcoming a hidden enmity. The name implies a movement toward the resolution of a secret hostility that seeks to undermine a person’s standing or peace. This dream marks the end of a threat that has operated in shadows.
The victory over a hidden enemy provides a firm ground. This dream is not a sign of ongoing struggle, but the mark of a completed deed. The victory over the hidden enemy is a settled matter.
A black snake, a yellow snake, or a red snake makes the enmity being conquered more striking. These colors signify that the hostility being overcome is particularly sharp or passionate.
Killing snakes in a house places the resolution within the dreamer’s most private sphere of life. The victory concerns the stability of the domestic order.
Not being able to kill a snake, failing to kill a snake, or trying to kill a snake changes the verdict from victory to an ongoing vulnerability. The threat that works in silence remains active and unaddressed.
A poisonous snake increases the gravity of the dream by marking the enmity as one capable of causing deep harm. The necessity of the victory is absolute.
A snake burning indicates that the force of the enmity is being consumed by an intense energy. The threat is quickly exhausted by this fire.
A dog or a cat killing a snake shifts the agency of the resolution away from the dreamer. The victory is achieved through the intervention of a companion, whether that companion is a faithful protector or a cunning ally.
A big snake signifies a threat of significant scale or influence. The successful defeat of such a creature denotes the removal of a major obstacle.
Removing, throwing, or killing multiple snakes indicates that deceit is acting on many fronts. The dream reports the clearing of many different paths of treachery at once.

Dream: There was cut on my right index finger & a light red/pink thread was sticking out. I started pulling & tied a green ribbon on it so it won’t break. It started turning into a big dark green snake & I put it in a blue water bottle where it kept coiling. The more thread I pulled out, the more the snake grew. I tried to bite & break the thread off once, but I couldn’t, I tried again & it broke off. The snake was dark & huge but calm & harmless. My cut healed.
