I dreamt of killing two strangers who had apparently harmed a friend I had in the dream.
I murdered them in the basement of my home.
I felt immense despair in the dream after I murdered them. I told my older sister, my mother… both of whom were in shock.
In the dream, I didn’t want to go out guns blazing or cover up the murder. I gave my sister the go-ahead to call the authorities.
It felt like my normal life had ended.
The dream ended when the police arrived.
Several months ago, I dreamed that I killed a stranger. I don’t remember the actual killing, just the aftermath, where I drove around looking for a place to bury him. Eventually, I found a suitable place in the woods. Weeks later, I had another dream, where I found the same person’s head in a large popcorn tin in a supply closet at my (only in this dream) workplace. I panicked, wondering what to do with the head. I woke up before I disposed of it.
