Tahir FirasahA chameleon signifies a person of inconsistent character or a double-dealer. The name implies a nature that changes to match its surroundings, which denotes a lack of a fixed moral center. This dream does not signal a sudden change, but rather a presence of instability in those who are meant to be trusted.
The deception is not a matter of chance, but a matter of survival for the one who shifts. A chameleon is not a sign of a new enemy, but a warning of an existing one. This dream shows that treachery is active. The chameleon remains a mark of a shifting loyalty.
The act of killing a chameleon settles the doubt. A person removes the source of their deception through this action. The threat of an unreliable ally is neutralized.
A plurality of these creatures indicates that the instability is widespread. The presence of many chameleons suggests that the lack of trust is not confined to a single individual.
The green color of the animal suggests that the deception is currently well-hidden. This shade makes the lack of sincerity harder to perceive in a dream.
