I was inside my house and I think it was my son when he was very young, maybe 4 or 5; ( he’s actually a fireman in his 30’s) he was outside in the front yard because I could hear him humming a song. Then I heard a young woman’s voice screaming, so I looked out the screen door & saw a bike in the road. Then this woman came frantically running to the door with this young boy in her arms and he was crying, but not screaming in agony. I opened the door calmly and she stood there holding one of his legs tightly, and it was missing the lower half just below the knee. It wasn’t bleeding profusely, it was just red at the end with blood. I took him from her & asked her to find the other half of his leg while I called 911. And I held his leg to keep it from bleeding. I could see her at the edge of the curbside searching, and she picked it up and ran towards me with it…. And I could see the bike nearby her in the road. And then it ended…..
