I opened the door(downstairs) that led to the stairs to my apartment. Before I began to climb the stairs I removed the footwear I had on my feet and started to climb the stairs. I was at the second section of the stairs and noticed that one of the tread(tile) fell off and landed on the ground but it didn’t break, so there was no way I could place my feet on it. I resulted to hurdle over it. I looked forward and saw that My neighbor(lady) was mobbing the veranda. I managed to skipped the tread that feel off and another tread feel off again, I felt stuck and couldn’t continue climbing until my younger brother who was downstairs walked in and was about climbing the stairs. I told him to get the treads that fell off so that I can place it back to its position. He picked the first thread, walked on the stairs and stretched and handed it to me, after fixing it he picked the second tread and I succeeded in placing it back to its position.
