Tahir FirasahA cat killing a rat is read as the triumph of a cunning companion over a hidden treachery. The companion acts through cleverness, while the betrayal moves in secret. This dream marks the moment where a subtle presence within a circle of trust overcomes an insidious threat.
The action of the dream serves to separate the protector from the harm. This movement signifies the removal of a source of corruption that has been lurking. A threat is met and neutralized. The rat is an enemy overcome.
The cat eating a rat turns the victory into a total mastery. This act of swallowing the prey shows that the clever ally absorbs and neutralizes the malice of the betrayal.
A snake eating a rat changes the nature of the companion. The presence of the serpent turns the dream into a struggle between two forms of enmity, where one treachery consumes another.
For its more general meaning: Dream about killing a rat
I dreamt of a rat and cat talking casually about the market prices and markets in general. I remember putting a thrown sweater for the cat to sit on to talk comfortably to the rat in the sunlight. Then actually I don’t remember the whole dream but I remember seeing a small girl coming inside my room and giving me some letter and I thought about giving her a candy but she went back already before I did. Sorry for my poor English I am not native.
