Tahir FirasahA cross signifies the weight of a steadfast burden and the presence of trial. This symbol marks a junction where a person meets the necessity of endurance. This dream does not indicate a path of ease, but rather a state of being tested by what is held.
The burden is not a sign of failure. A cross provides the ground for the strengthening of the will. The symbol remains a mark of what is being borne.
The act of carrying a cross adds the dimension of active participation to the dream. This movement shifts the meaning from a mere state of being to the continuous exertion of the spirit. The weight is felt through the effort of the journey.
A broken cross changes the verdict of the dream by introducing the theme of neglect. The fracture in the symbol suggests that the capacity for endurance has been abandoned. This state marks a loss of the very principle that the symbol is meant to uphold.
