A naming ceremony denotes the establishment of honor and the recognition of lineage. This dream signifies the formal marking of a person’s standing and the continuity of their descent. The ritual marks what is already possessed rather than what is to come.
The interruption of a naming ceremony halts the progression of recognition. Such a delay in the ritual indicates that the recognition of status is not yet complete. A joyous naming ceremony carries the weight of good tidings. This state affirms the strength of the lineage and the certainty of the honor. A naming ceremony rests upon the stability of a name well spoken.
For its more general meaning: Dream about a ceremony
I dream about attending a naming ceremony of a family friend, in the dream I saw myself wearing white attire but I didn’t see the parents or the baby but my intuition tells me it’s a naming ceremony and at the end of my dream, I can see stampede of people arriving at the venue of the naming ceremony…I need the interpretation please.

I dream of attending a naming ceremony, and the baby names was listed out and out of those names given to the baby, 2 of the names belong to some else, then the women there started protesting that they should remive those two names from the list of names given to the new norn baby. Then I with other men there started protesting against removing the two name , that many people can be bearing the same name.

I dreamt that my mother inlaw gave birth to a boy and I went for their naming ceremony. When I got there my husband was carrying the baby and when the baby saw me he started smiling and was happy. Other guests came and my mom also attended but I later left the ceremony to a church program in the market place. And shortly everyone in that naming ceremony also joined me in the church program at the market. I was pushed into a swimming pool by my pastor sis cos she also fell into the pool.
