I decided to take a nap before heading home when I received a video call from the nurse. I answered, and we began talking, though I couldn’t see her clearly at first. When the video finally became clear, I saw that she was actually a man—fair in complexion with black hair. While speaking to me, he was spilling palm kernels out of his mouth.
