Tahir FirasahA peacock flying marks the flight of worldly pride into a higher realm. This dream signifies a shift from the pursuit of external admiration to the acquisition of a more elevated perspective. The vanity of the flesh is left behind as the spirit gains a lightness that defies the gravity of social standing.
The symbol of the peacock in this dream indicates a transition from the display of beauty to the utility of sight. A peacock flying indicates that the focus of the ego is no longer fixed upon the ground of reputation. The soul finds a way to rise above the weight of its own brilliance.
A peacock flying high expands the vision of the dream by increasing the distance between the self and the earthly concerns of praise. This heightening of the ascent ensures that the pride being shed is truly of the lower nature. The elevated position clarifies the distinction between mere appearance and true wisdom.
