Tahir FirasahA pen signifies the establishment of a formal pact or the exercise of recorded authority. This instrument allows the mind to leave a lasting mark upon the world. The dream does not indicate the content of a message but the power of the instrument itself.
The capacity for binding agreements remains a central theme in this dream. A pen offers the means to solidify a standing or a commitment. A pen marks the presence of a settled intention.
The act of buying a pen denotes a readiness to enter into a new arrangement. This movement suggests a preparation to formalize a thought or a duty.
To be holding a pen places the power of decree directly in the hands of the dreamer. The dream shows the immediate possession of the means to command or to testify.
The shade of the ink determines how long the mark remains. Black ink leaves a record that resists the passage of time, while blue ink suggests a commitment of a more fleeting nature.
Eating pens signifies the internalizing of authority or the consumption of one’s own power to decree. This action turns the instrument of the pact into a part of the self.
A pen running out of ink signifies the loss of the capacity to bind. The absence of the flow leaves a pact without the means to be sustained.
Dreamt I’m giving a red ink pen to someone for them to use. They really like it and ask me where I got it from. I say it’s from my mom who was a teacher and now retired has given them to us.
