I dreamed of multiple portals, like a network, and i travelled through more than one of them. You could only use them by climbing into a little egg, but the egg was too small to fit into. The network was also controlled by a group, so there were rules in place which changed how the network worked, in a negative way. At the other end of the portal, there are always obligations, take them something or they will take something from you.
