Tahir FirasahA river flooding is understood as a sudden expansion of one’s life or a surge of power that exceeds its natural banks. This dream signifies a movement of the spirit that no longer stays within the bounds of habit or order. It is a sign of a current that has become too great for the channel that holds it.
The surge marks a moment where the force of a life’s path turns into a tide that cannot be stayed. This dream does not speak of a gradual increase, but of a breaking of the old way. A river flooding carries the weight of a life that has become too large for its present situation.
The strength of the flow offers a capacity for great change. This dream is a river that breaks its limits.
Escaping a flooding river changes the verdict from a loss of control to a preservation of the self. The act of moving away from the water shows that the person maintains their footing despite the swelling tide.
An overflowing river signifies a life that has surpassed its established limits.
