Tahir FirasahA sea monster signifies a trial that overwhelms the spirit. This dream marks a collision with forces that threaten to drown a person’s foundations. The pressure is constant and requires all that is held.
The terror of this dream is found in the scale of the struggle. A giant sea monster exceeds the strength available to face it. This dream marks a moment where the person finds themselves at the mercy of an immense and unyielding pressure.
The presence of a giant sea monster increases the sense of helplessness in the dream. This scale shifts the meaning from a difficult trial to a situation where the individual is entirely dwarfed by the magnitude of the obstacle.
For its more general meaning: Dream about sea creatures
I dreamt of being on a small ship and the waters were rising and washed on board a sea monster. I ran, and got away, only to be pursued again and then climbed up rafters and got away. I was checking the bunks for how securely they were constructed as they were filled with other escapees. I suggested people check to see if the sea monster was climbing up to us. They were, so I climbed down another side, ran across a beach. A girl I was with lost her hand to the montser. We rested safely in the end.
Peace to you, Willow,
