Tahir FirasahBeing in a car signifies the course of affairs that carries a person through life. This movement is the way a life moves and the weight of its current heading. The dream does not suggest a destination, but rather the manner in which the journey is being undertaken.
The direction of this course is determined by the position and the action within the vehicle. Control over the path or the surrender to a movement defines the nature of the progress. A car moves forward along a chosen way, and the dream reveals the stability or the instability of that movement. The car remains the vessel of this ongoing motion.
The presence of a companion or a passenger changes the path from a private journey to one shaped by an external will. This movement suggests a reliance on the hand of another.
Getting lost in the car indicates a straying from a path that was once recognized. The movement becomes a sign of deepening confusion as the way is no longer understood.
Entering or traveling in the vehicle marks the beginning of a new movement. This action signifies that a specific way of living has commenced. The dream shows a person being moved along a path that has been established.
Being trapped in a car signifies an obstacle that arrests the current way of living. The movement is halted by a restriction that prevents any further progress.
Sleeping in the car denotes a withdrawal into an unconscious state during the journey. This inaction suggests an unawareness of the dangers that may exist on the path.
Being driven in the car is the act of placing one’s reliance in another. A smooth motion through the dream indicates that the surrender of control results in an easy advancement.
