Tahir FirasahCave diving means a descent into the dark places where the self is hidden. This dream signifies a movement toward the interior where the self seeks refuge or finds what is buried. It is not a dream of outward discovery but of an inward journey into the depths of solitude.
The passage through these dark reaches involves an unsteady crossing of an emotional realm. The depth of the descent indicates a confrontation with the most private parts of existence. A certain endurance is required to face the stillness of the subterranean world. The descent into the cave diving settles the soul in its own shadow.
The act of swimming in a cave transforms the place of hiding into a path of passage. This movement turns the stillness of the hiding place into a journey of transition.
For its more general meaning: Dream about a cave
Ia dream where I was swimming in a cave with my dinosaurs friends. I became afraid thinking they were going to eat me. Then I appeared in a bathroom fighting for my life when a girl entered with a dog, but the dog was vicious as it was hungrary. I saved the girl but forced her to let her dog go unto the cave water. I then appeared in a room in the upper part of the cave working for a company but didn’t know how they made money. The cave went from nothing to built up with a community of people.
