I paid a visit to my first boss who I worked with 17 years ago. He decided to excuse himself after chatting with me for a while. While waiting for him to return, I saw my mum’s ex husband (my step dad) who is no longer with her. He called me and asked for us to have a chat. He took me across the road to an empty elementary school where we sat for our discussion. I was offered a meal consisting of fried beef and a carbonated drink which I refused to take because I was full and running late.
