Tahir FirasahDrowning in a river signifies a surrender to a life course that has exceeded a person’s capacity to direct it. The river is the flow of a life or the weight of a powerful person. This dream is read as a sign of being overwhelmed by circumstances rather than a sign of sudden ruin.
The weight of the water indicates that the current of life has become a force that cannot be resisted. Control is lost to a greater momentum in this dream. A person finds themselves subject to a direction they did not choose. The river carries the dreamer toward an inevitable conclusion.
The rapid motion of being swept away in a river makes the loss of control absolute. This momentum is the reason why a person finds no ground to stand upon.
For its more general meaning: Dream about a river
I had a dream whereby flood parted a drainage and as I took the path of the drainage, the flood swept me into another big river and I was sinking with no one helping. Please what could this imply?
