Tahir FirasahFinding a cat signifies an encounter with a cunning companion or a false servant. Subtle craft or a hidden independence enters the scene. It is no open foe, but a thing that moves through the shadows.
A person’s work or their security may be swayed by a hidden hand. Such a dream is not a sign of overt violence, but of a shifting reliance on those who serve or accompany. An intellect works unseen. A person finds that what was thought to be a simple bond contains a hidden layer of self-interest. The cat remains a symbol of a cleverness that serves its own ends.
A black cat in this dream darkens the verdict by adding a layer of obscurity to the craft encountered. The color deepens the sense of the hidden, making the presence of the sly associate harder to discern.
The state of the cats being stray or lost shifts the dream toward an encounter with an unmoored and fragile autonomy. These animals embody an aimless and unsettled independence. This detail softens the threat of malice by showing a lack of direction in the subtle forces at work.
