I was walking in the estate where I currently live and saw some group of young men that were about to commence football training. These young men are upcoming footballers because they play for football academy(club), so they were about to have their weekly training in the estate. I was not a registered player in the academy. I walked up to the group and saw a man who was their coach, the man was selecting and grouping the players for the training. One of the player that knew me, starred at me and smiled. I went to him and asked him why he smiled, but he said nothing and while the coach was still making selections the young man that smiled at me told the coach to put me on the team for the training so that I can play. The coach immediately selected me, to play me in the training, then he remembered someone (my old friend) who attends the academy training has to play but he said the friend doesn’t come to training on Fridays so I will play in place of the friend.
I saw a long-time friend of mine playing for a football club in England. His team always won, and he was always the one scoring the major goals. I never knew he had such talent in him before, but I was pleased to be part of the supporters of the club.
