Tahir FirasahGliding over water signifies a mastery over the currents of existence and the sustenance of life. This dream describes a way to move across the substance of life without being lost to its depths. It is a sign of being at peace with the way the world provides.
The movement in this dream is not a struggle against the tide but a grace found within it. A person who experiences this dream finds a way to traverse the depths of their circumstances without being pulled under by the weight of worldly needs. Such a dream indicates a period where the difficulties of survival are met with a lightness of spirit. The water remains a foundation that supports rather than a force that consumes.
The presence of tools or momentum in driving on water, sailing on water, or running on water imbues the dream with a more certain direction. These actions change the meaning from mere presence to a purposeful transit through life’s provisions. The momentum of the dream signifies a more active command over one’s destiny and the means of survival.
Walking on water provides a footing of unshakable poise to the dream. This specific way of being on the surface suggests a groundedness even when the path is fluid. The stability of the step reinforces the theme of security amidst change.
Flying over water elevates the dream from a contact with life to a perspective above it. This detachment offers a view of the entirety of one’s livelihood from a height. The dream thus moves from participation in the current to an oversight of it.
A state of rest while sleeping on water shows a person who has found stillness in the midst of their living. This dream presents a soul that remains undisturbed by the motion of the world.
For its more general meaning: Dream about water
I witnessed a school brawl and managed to escape. I sought shelter at my grandfather’s house and climbed upstairs to see my dad. On my way, I stepped into a bowl of warm water placed at the entrance by my step brother who later apologized. Inside, I saw two cousins of mine, a male and a female. The male, who resides in the UK, looked great and we greeted each other. Coming face-to-face with my dad, he handed me a note containing money to head back home.
