Tahir FirasahHummingbirds signify the arrival of swift news or the presence of a joy that does not linger. This dream marks the quickness of a passing feeling and the way certain delights vanish as they appear. The essence of the hummingbird is its speed, which offers a lightness of being that is not meant to be held.
The swiftness of this dream points toward a state of transition. It is a sign of things that pass through a life without settling. A hummingbird brings a movement that is felt but not possessed.
The act of saving a hummingbird or catching a hummingbird is a dream of grasping at the temporary. To attempt to hold what is meant to fly is to struggle against the very nature of the joy being sought.
A dead hummingbird indicates that a brief grace has ended. The end of such a creature marks the cessation of a fleeting pleasure.
A blue hummingbird softens the sudden movement. This hue quietens the arrival of the news and makes the brief joy feel more calm.
An onslaught from a hummingbird being attacked turns the swiftness of the symbol into a source of agitation. The speed that usually brings joy now brings a sudden and unsettling disturbance.
A hummingbird in a house brings the external news into the private sphere of the life. This dream shows how a passing grace enters the stability of the household.
For its more general meaning: Dream about a bird
Hi! I dreamt that I had to get to a movie theater, and just a lot of “bad luck” things started to happen to me, I lost my phone, a bird pooped on me, almost got hit by a bus.. and the I looked at like a tall wall and saw 2 hummingbirds, one was blue and the other one I don’t quite remember, and my thought was that it was a really positive omen or message from the universe, I lost the movie anyways
Hello Jim,
Your dream reached me, and I have read it. May good come of it.
Your dream is a symbol for tendency, appearance and money. This dream states that you have a tendency to hold in and keep your feelings to yourself. You are putting too much emphasis on beauty and outside appearances rather than what is inside. You have less money than you would like, but for now you don’t need more.
You know where to find me.
An old friend appeared in my dream we were in a mall, he went inside a sushi buffet and i went looking for him. The workers handed him to me stiff. A humming bird appeared next it was like a petvcuddling next to me on a bed, the bed had brown mice in it cute ones that laid with us, cleaned up the bed after that. The bird liked sushi and kept getting in the sushi buffet and got to the point where the worker grabbed it and told me it belonged outside.
