Losing muscle is understood as a reduction in the capacity for personal agency. This dream marks a departure from the strength of character and a thinning of the means to exert influence.
The movement toward a weaker state is read as a decline in standing. This loss is the result of a failure to maintain the structures of influence that support a person’s position. A slow wasting of power is what this dream reports. The capacity for action is diminished.
For its more general meaning: Dream about muscles
I’ve had a few dreams recently where I have fallen down or I’m lay down, on my front, and I suddenly feel that exhausted and have no strength to push myself/get up, no matter how hard I try to push myself up with my arms I barley move, so I lay there a bit longer and feel like I’m in the first stages of falling asleep, when I try again to get up the same thing happens, so I lay there again etc, Usually by my 3rd attempt I can get up. People are around but seem oblivious and don’t try to help.

I had a dream where i was climbing up a ladder on the side of a huge Cliffside and when i got to the top i didn’t have the strength to pull myself up onto flat ground. Then a child started jumping around me on the ladder with ease as if he were an acrobat, as if to be taunting me because of my weakness to climb onto the ledge.
