I was in a light sleep state, possibly half awake and half asleep when suddenly I could swear that I heard a fast knocking at the back door, like whomever was knocking was in a panic or state of emergency. And it got louder and almost more desperate or demanding. There was an echo to this knocking, and although that’s when I decided that this was just a dream, and it startled me out of my sleep, it seemed so very real.
