Last night I dreamed a small furry animal (such as perhaps a small squirrel) went dashing across my chest while I was sleeping. It shocked me right out of a deep sleep to a startled wakened state. As I lay there feeling paralyzed with my heart pounding in fear and confusion, I could still feel the fur of the animal across my chest and chin.
