Tahir FirasahWearing a watch signifies an awareness of an appointed time. The symbol derives from the act of marking the passage of hours, which serves to bind the person to their duties. This dream is read as an acknowledgement of the rhythms that govern a life, yet it does not signify the arrival of a specific fate.
The measurement of remaining time through this symbol is the weight of the dream. A person finds themselves confronted by the necessity of their obligations. The watch remains a sign of the limits that define a course of action.
A gold watch increases the importance of the duty being measured. The precious nature of the material holds the moment in a fixed and lasting light.
The presence of a new watch suggests that the awareness of time is a recent development. This freshness makes the reckoning of obligations feel immediate.
