Tahir FirasahWriting numbers in a dream signifies an encounter with a destined period or a final accounting. The act of inscription moves the dreamer toward a realization of what has been gathered and what must be settled. This process marks the transition from the fluidity of life to the fixedness of a record.
The symbols of the dream serve to define the nature of this reckoning. The movement of the hand establishes the boundary between what remains unsettled and what is determined. Chaos yields to the weight of the count. The numbers in the dream provide the finality of a sum.
