Tahir FirasahAn elevator signifies a change in the station or the rank of a person. This movement signifies the way a life ascends or descends through the social or professional orders. The dream does not portend a permanent state but reports on the current trajectory of influence.
The direction of the movement determines the nature of the shift. A rise indicates an expansion of power, while a fall indicates a loss of stability. The ease of this motion settles the verdict of the dream. A transition occurs through the elevator.
A sudden descent in the elevator falling shows a loss of the ground upon which a station is built. This movement signals a decline in how a person is held by their surroundings.
The broken elevator marks a failure in the mechanisms of advancement. This state denies the possibility of any change in rank.
The elevator going up denotes a climb toward a higher vantage. Such progress expands a person’s reach and influence.
The act of riding an elevator shows the person as a subject to these shifts in rank. The dream marks the experience of being carried through these changes.
